About us Penn Metalworks, LLC is a family owned & operated full-service metal fabrication company located in south central Pennsylvania. Founded by Ken Smith in 1978 as Ken F Smith Custom Sheet Metal, we have provided metal sales & fabrication services to the surrounding area for almost half a century. In 2022, after nearly 20 years with the company, his son, Brian, took the helm as President. In 2025, the name was changed to Penn Metalworks to simplify the name and better represent the products & services we offer. Ken still remains active in the day-to- day, and they operate as a father-son team. With their combined experience and genuine interest in the industry, you can rest assured we have the knowledge and experience to tackle your project. Thanks to our customers, we have grown steadily over the years, allowing us to consistently offer new services and capabilities. With our decades of experience, we are able to take your job from conception to completion. We have a design team that leverages the latest in CAD & CAM software, including 3D design. Our shop is well-equiped using the latest technologies and a highly-skilled crew that takes pride in their work and has great attention to detail.
